Dominate = Retreat backwards for 12 rounds. YAAAAWWWNNNN!!!
It will be Canelo hunting his ass until he finally catches him good and puts him to sleep. Waste of a PPV fight. Hopefully it gets put on regular SHOWTIME where it belongs.Comment

Little Mayweather never "rocked" Canelo. Mayweather often gets too much credit, but that aside, there is every reason to think there will come times in the fight and, it will probably be early, that Canelo will be in punching range and be able to hit Lara with hard punches.
Lara really does not have great upper body movement. He has very little head movement. He'll move and establish himself at another point in the ring from time to time, but he lets other fighters get off on him. This didn't happen just in the Angulo fight, but others also. Other than Angulo, he hasn't worried too much about his opponents punching power. His offense is his defense. He has never been neurotic about not getting hit.
I think the Lara fans are coming up with a highly unlikely scenario where he moves and punches at will and never takes any return. That is not going to happen.Comment

I knew this was coming. Except Mayweather was obviously letting himself get caught on the ropes purposely. But we can use other fights as example all you want. Little Mayweather was walking Canelo down and rocking his ass. And lets not forget about Cotto's brother too.

During the Lara-Trout fight I struggled hard not to fall asleep... But, at some point, I got attentive -- because Trout was missing everything he threw... It was nearly comical...Comment

Erislandy Lara is gonna dominate Canelo........I'm mexican and the only reason i say that is because i see how a lot fans living in Mexico feel about Canelo, many believe that Canelo is a "perrito inflado" and Telerisa (Televisa) blew up into some kind of killer but as good as Canelo has looked against Matthew Hatton and little ol' 140lbs. contender Josesito Lopez, Canelo's resume doesn't compare to Lara! Lara has already fought the best mexican at 154 Carlos Molina, fought Paul Williams and the beating he gave Paul had Roy Jones Jr. seriously concerned for Paul's mental health, totally broke Austin Trout's spirit and was close to knocking him out completely........ fought Lorenzo Aragon in Cuba for many years the great amateur that gave Floyd the toughest fight the olympics so idk how the hell people even think Canelo's resume can compare to the great Erislandy Lara.......the best mexican at 154 is Carlos Molina and the best Mexican boxer right now is El Gallo Estrada.......stop believing the hype my fellow compatriotas

None of that has anything to do with Canelo being able to cut of the ring on Lara though.
