Technically Lara made Angulo look like a ***** since he quit. You can't sit up here and say the Angulo Canelo fought was the same one Lara fought. I am a fan of both Canelo and Lara so keep your silly **** to a minimum.

im not saying canelo beats lara because of the angulo fight, im saying lara is not close to being one of the best in the world due to the angulo, molina, and vanes fights... you dont go to hell on those fights and then claim to be one of the best in the world, now do you have a problem with those arguments??
by the way canelo him self is not on a position to claim he is one of the best in the world yet...

Why do people keep saying the Angulo-Lara fight was bad for Lara? True, he got knocked down but he got up and made Angulo say uncle. So much so they came up with BS excuses. Truth is Lara got up off the canvas and whipped his ass!! That fight showed me a lot about Lara.

It showed how vulnerable Lara is on the inside and was surprising to see Angulo land those slow as molasses punches. He was just too predictable for an elite fighter to have no answer to pressure.

Sure Angulo did a good job of pressuring Lara but at the same time Lara at times just stood against the ropes with his guard up letting Angulo unload as many body shots as he wanted. If he gives Canelo that much time to throw at a stationary target Saul will have a field day throwing his combinations.

I just feel that he has had to overcome adversity something that Canelo really hasn't to do. Those types of things tend to show up when a fight is 50/50 like this fight is.

Lara has definitely faced more adversity at the elite level. Fighting as a ppv head liner, headlining a big card period,is something new let's see how he handles all the lights.

This is the same argument you and every Canelo fan are making. But what makes you think Canelo can cut the ring off or trap Lara?

Because it was so blatantly obvious how uncomfortable Lara was on the inside. You don't have to be a fan of either fighter to see that. Canelo works well on the inside and he's far from a one dimensional fighter so I'm sure he'll be able to cut off the ring. He had Mayweather on the ropes numerous times he just couldn't take advantage of it. It's not like Lara can move around the ring all night he's bound to get trapped.

Let's not act like Angulo is an ATG when it comes to cutting of the ring. Like I mentioned Lara made it easier for Angulo by simply putting his guard up while backed against the ropes.
