The key is to keep Manny from throwing 60+ punches per round and make him fight at a slower pace, and after the first four rounds, Manny would have no choice but to fight at a slower pace throwing 40+ punches per round and fighting at Floyd's pace. It's funny how they pay so much attention to Manny's straight left hand as if that's all that needed to beat a fighter like Floyd.

Floyd will not beat Manny pot shooting him 8-10 times a round. He would have to fight at some point and open himself up to the chance of getting knocked out or down. There's a reason Floyd will fight everyone not named Manny Pacquiao.
I don't think it would be an easy fight, not even now. I thought it would've been a 7-5 or 8-4 type of fight back in 2009-10 with Floyd being the favorite to win it. I still think Manny would be able to win at least 3-4 rounds now, but that's about it. Manny has more than a puncher's chance in terms of catching and finishing Floyd off, but there's little to no chance of that happening.

Exactly what I said in my thread about Manny beating Floyd. That pot shotting **** won't work on Manny. When has it ever? LMAO. You need to be in the vein of Morales and JMM in order to stop Manny, and be successful with him.

Manny fights at a slower pace now and is more of a thinker and also timing but against Floyd now I see a more decisive win for Floyd against the current Manny though Manny is still very good no doubt just not the threat I see he would have been back a few years ago.

Do you really think Manny wouldn't be phased by the accumulation of the straight right hand to the body, the lead straight right hand, a few roundhouse right hooks, and a few left hook counters for 12 rounds? Manny has a great chin and can take a punch, but the guy is still human and has been hurt and KO'd before. Floyd doesn't have to throw a six punch combo just to land two like Morales and Marquez do, that's what the touch/pawing jab is for, it's to keep his opponents from setting up their offense and distract them long enough for him to fire off the straight hand upstairs or downstairs, he can pick his spots and win the rounds on points.

Of course, i can see a scenario where Floyd lands all the best clean punches, while Manny outworks him with his usual late round flurries and the crowd would play a major factor because they'd cheer for every punches that Manny throws, but i don't think it would be enough because whenever Floyd lands clean punches, everyone can see it. The judges did gave Bradley all the rounds that i scored for him in Pacquiao-Bradley II even though the crowd made it seemed like Bradley shouldn't have won those rounds.

Sparring partner for both asks who would win and which one he'd prefer to fight. He says Floyd beats Manny and he feels that there is something to exploit with Manny.

Read below. Roach said it was so easy that they won't bring Brooks back ...... So Brooks not too happy

“[Pacquiao] did really well. He’s already following the game plan. This was a good sparring partner for Shane Mosley but I don’t think I’m going to bring Bryan Brooks back… Bryan Brooks got hurt a few times. Manny was too much for Bryan Brooks. He did whatever he wanted too. He was playing with Bryan Brooks a little bit. He likes to play with his audience a little bit.” - Roach

Everyones talking about pacs killer left hand? How about we talk about pacs a sucker for a straight right hand! Let him over commit against floyd and see how quick hes going to learn not to over commit going for a ko! How about we talk about his lack of defense? You kidding me? With a sharpshooter like floyd and his lack of defense the poor guy will be target practice! Might as well put the TARGET dept. Store logo on that left eye of his lol You pac fans don't know **** about boxing! Y'all think pacs power is going to be something floyd is going to.be scared off. Im tired of listening to every hard puncher floyds fought claiming there going to walk through him. Claiming they're going to dictate the pace. Your fighting a master technician. Not a bum with a low boxing IQ! And last I saw floyds chin holds up quite well and his recovery and the way he dealt with getting hurt is second to none. Thats something you can't teach anyone! By the way pac fans where were you all at supporting your idol last time out cause his ppv #s are dropping faster than flies! I think if floyd called him now and offered 30 million in his pocket he'd take it. He definitely isn't worth 50 percent of the generated income. How I see it floyd is the new cash cow and he took dlh torch. He commands what his gonna pay out hust like dlh did throughout his career. You don't want the 30 mil? Fine go fight someone else for less than 10 mil if tour lucky cause ***** is banking 60 plus!

Pac is gonna drop back down to 140 lbs. so that tells me this fight may never actually happen

Look at it this way the golden boy / top rank / mayweather war has prevented this fight from the get go. Mayweather and Dlh left on bad terms with arum which we all know isnt dealing with a full deck. You went on your own terms. Pac had the chance to be with goldenboy from the beginning and he got convinced by arum. Bad move imo. Marquez and mosley left goldenboy to get a fight with pac. Cotto went on his own to get a fight with mayweather. If you are your own boss why wouod you deal with someone who you dont like? Pac has the decision to become his own man at the end of this year. If he signs with arum again I don't ever want to hear from another pac fan again claiming thus fight wasn't made because of mayweather! If he doesn't sign and money turns him down again then you got all the reason to trash him. Heck ill be the first to say it. But honestly that old pac is not there anymore. Be it the juice or lack there off or age.or the beatings he's taken over the years. That fight really don't mean much anymore and to be honest I rather see PORTER VS MAYWEATHER now! Now that fight is rather intriguing isn't it?

                      .

yes and all 50 of them wanna see this fight because its not a lopsided fight like you think it would be.
i said its totally reasonable to say that floyd is the favorite, i actually think he is as well. he was only slightly favored in 2009 but he's more favored against the older, slower, probably shot chin pacquiao.

but you're an idiot, if you think pac has ZERO chance.
pac is still the only one who has a legitimate chance to beat floyd.
