Age doesn't mean he gets in the Top 10.....opposition does. Hopkins hasn't beat a good fighter since Pascal. Cloud lost like 2 of previous 3, and Murat is a Euro level fighter.....and don't even get me started on Shumenov. He'll be Top 10 if he beats Stevenson though.

How does Mikey beat Salido at 126, the #1 guy there. Then move up to 130 and beat Roman Martinez and Juan Carlos Burgos, solid fighters there, and not get any credit.....yet Hopkins gets credit for beating Cloud, Murat, and Shumenov???

It's great that he can fight at this level with his age but those wins aren't better than Mikey's wins recently. Lara is P4P better than Hopkins. I'll take beating Angulo and Trout over anything Hopkins has done recently.

Golovkin has one good win over Macklin. Danny arguably lost to Herrera so he's gone. Stevenson and Kovalev each have 1-2 good wins. Donaire hasn't done anything legit recently. Sergio hasn't fought in a year, so he's out. Froch struggled too much with a controversial stoppage over Groves to be Top 10. If Froch silences people and beats Groves handily without any sort of controversies, he'll be back in the Top 10. Santa Cruz hasn't fought anyone all that good yet. Canelo could get in if he beats Lara.

Lara should have wins over Williams, Vanes, Angulo, and Trout. All Top 10 guys at 154. He's proven himself time and time again to be on the best fighers in the world. He struggled with Angulo, but ultimately stopped him, and completely out classed Trout.
