Im going with lomachenko. Even in defeat I was impressed the way he hung in there against the bigger salido. Russel has never been tested if its a war I think lomachenkos experience will help him. Could see him finishing russel with a body shot. Russel also has fragile hands. That might be a problem.

Same way you thought you were ready for Salido right?

I'd say a split decision loss against Orlando Saldio, who didn't bother to make weight, low blowed and headbutted all night, and even hurting him in the 12th round... All in his second professional fight (even if it's 10th) is a success....

I wouldn't call it a success because at the end of the day he lost the fight, but it was a learning experience that I'm sure will help him grow. He lost to Salido who beat him with veteran tactics not by outboxing or out gunning Loma. He was able to make him uncomfortable it was just a hard fight to watch from the get go.

Plain and simple people writing Loma off after two fights are ****ing idiots. I think it's really hard to predict how he does against Russell considering Gary has fought nothing but tomato cans. A big test for both that will let us know who the bigger talent is.

Loma already has deeper pro experience than Russell. Lol. This is a strange fight. Loma MD is my prediction

Russell is moving up from TBA so it should be an interesting fight

              however

lomachenko's already lost by MD or SD> sorry but that's Al Haymon magic.

              only by KO.

What's the big rush for? Why push Loma like this? If he loses his career will take a major hit and it will take years for him to resurrect his career. Again, why the big fudging rush?

He only has two fights as a pro. I would have given him at least 10 before putting him in against Salido. What ****** jackass handlers he has.

Beating Gary Russel has a greater risk than reward. Gary is simply too dangerous, a risk that should not be taken with only 2 pro fights no matter how extensive his amateur background was.

Bob Arum may ruin a career of one of the best boxing talents. His approach is like " win the belt or get the **** outta here". I'd like to see his pro career being directed more in way of Usyk or Murata. Title shots at the beginning of his pro experience may stop his development as a boxer.

It's not Bob Arum, it's Loma. I am sure Bobfather would like nothing more than to milk Loma gradually and build him up. Pity there was no-one to truly coach Loma or to set a limit on Salido's rehydration. But Loma learns from this. And even if he loses second time, his career is far from over. He already made a lot of noise, which can only be good for him.

Possibly the biggest hype job and I say hype job because this will be the quickest and shortest career for a former Olympian
