New Zealand heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has a new opponent for next weekend's fight in Germany after Sherman Williams was caught in a contract dispute after being kicked out of Wladimir Klitschko's training camp.

Williams, the Ba***** veteran, was helping Klitschko prepare for his world title defence against Australian-Samoan Alex Leapai.

Williams was sparring with Klitschko but fell out of favour. Details are sketchy but he has now left Europe to return home and is refusing to fight Parker.

Williams had been a regular sparring partner for some time now hasn't he ? Along with Sprott and Sexton.he must feel he is being underpayed by K2 or maybe he's tight with Shannon Briggs lol.

there is always 2 sides to a story. Sherman was in 11 or 12 klitschko camps in the past according to an article recently. if that's the case I wonder what really happened? obviously he was a valued sparring partner but something went south. parker camp claiming he was iffy on fighting their man. that is to be expected... taking his ball & going home... lol! sounds like a poster on this thread...^^^^^^ parker will beat his replacement...

Article says K2 is demanding boxing authorities slap Williams with a 6 month ban so i doubt it was something trivial like a personality clash. Makes me think he was caught doing something prohibited like juicing.
