Why create a poll? Just research the top gates and PPV buys.

Not really. Pacquiao is world famous.

Ppv is usa bs. PPV means nothing. In many countries pacquiaos fights are shown on free tv, so ppl tune in.

Besides only few ppl are actually fans of floyd, most tune in to see him get beat.

yes, ik what the ppv numbers are in the us. its very impressive,, floyd is a polarizing figure here in the united states.

when pacquiao got kod by marquez, he still came home to a heroes welcome in the phillipines. i remember when he came back they still had a victory parade that ran thru downtown manila even when he loses. hundred of thousands of people show up and crowd the streets. pacquiao is loved not only in the us, thats all im saying

So in that case Floyd has a bigger fanbase than Tyson and Ali combined. Because to my kowledge Tyson didn't even come close to Floyd's numbers.

When Ali went to Africa, thousands and thousands of Africans were awaiting him at the airport alone. When Ali went to the UK thousands and thousands of British welcomed him. When Ali came to The Netherlands, thousands were welcoming him here too.

When Ali fought, even my father who has absolutely zero interest in the sport of boxing, would stay up all night to watch his fights.

PPV numbers alone aren't the only factor to determine a fanbase. In fact, it's not even the most important one.

The situations I described above is something Floyd has never gotten and will never get. I'ts called being The People's Champ. I'm not saying that Manny has achieved anything or will achieve anything even remotely close to what Ali generated. But here is the similarity: when Manny goes to The Philippines, thousands and thousands of Philippines welcome him, when Manny goes to Mexico, thousands and thousands of Mexicans welcome him. That's what you call The People's Champ.

Can't everyone just agree to disagree and say Pacquiao has the largest fan base, but that Mayweather has the largest following.
