BoxingScene.com recently spoke to former WBO super bantamweight champion Wilfredo "Papito" Vazquez Jr. (23-3-1) who will face former WBO super flyweight champion Marvin Sonsona on June 7th on the Miguel Cotto-Sergio Martinez pay-per-view undercard.

Vazquez Jr. recently signed with Miguel Cotto's promotional company and said that the reason he signed with his fellow Puerto Rican is because he believes that Cotto can lead him back to a title.

Don't know how I feel about this being ont he undercard....
IMO... weak undercard right now... but it's mostly Cotto inserting his PR fighters on there to build his stable.

Jorge Melednez/Yuri Foreman? People thought the Pac undercard was weak....

Since losing to Vasquez at 122 Sonsona has knocked out 3 guys at 130 and 126, maybe he'll be stronger this time around at the higher weight, he's taller with a longer reach too, plus he was only 19 years old when they fought. It should be a much better fight this time around.

WV2 will win...Cotto has him & 2 others he signed on the show 4 1 reason: he gets a cut...WV2 can only draw in Kissimmee, FL...but I like him...Segio beats Cotto...he's not that far gone & big size difference, but most importantly, SM fights intelligently...
