who do people expect hatton to say or think? how often does a fighter say "yeah he would always have knocked me unconscious no matter what point we fought"? lol

But of course, peak Hatton still loses to Pacquiao.

I was thinking along the same lines. That left hand would have landed on Hatton anytime they fought because Hatton has no defense.

Hatton has extremely low self esteem, so he has to make up for it by deluding himself or else he'll no longer exist.

Hatton did not look good in the Lazcano fight. He ran straight into the same check left hook that Mayweather KO'd him with, almost fell into the turnbuckle again lol. He was quite lucky that Lazcano couldn't really follow up.

He looked good against Paulie but they rushed into the Pacquaio fight. He needed more time with Mayweather Sr. Not that it was ever really a good match in the first place.

Hatton looked like crap against Lazcano. Him being so ****** up physically there and then against a light puncher against Malignaggi made me really doubt his chances against Manny.

But I didn't expect a domination like that.

lol sorry Hatton but you were always tailormade for Pacman, and miles? Pacman had more miles than you he was already knocked out and knock down several times and been in wars as a young fighter before he started using his movement when he got with Roach.

Hatton came off his best win too when he fought Pacman, he out boxed and schooled Paulie Malignaggi badly.

If Ricky was allowed to fight in the same manner in which he fought Kostya Tszyu, then he would've stood a better chance. Tszyu pretty much got mugged that night. It would've only prolonged the inevitable though.
that was a clinch-fest on par with wladimir but it worked and tsyzu didnt even complain about it afterwards, I guess he'd been in enough fights to have to deal with hometown referees before but hatton was very strong that night, charged up by the insane crowd atmosphere.. he overpowered tsyzu in the clinches.. now he might have still beaten tsyzu even if he wasn't allowed to clinch that much but maybe not - its possible the outcome would have been different on neutral ground...
