Top Ranks in the wrong here. He's seeing out his contract and shouldn't be strong armed into a new one for doing so.

I agree 100% and that's why he has to force Top Ranks hand. Sooner or later, whether it be GGG or another guy Jr. will get exposed again just like he did against Martinez. Which is why its imperative for him to lock in the big money now. Business is all about timing. As it stands today the Top Rank stable is devoid of future stars and Jr. is their one big name going forward.
Like he said, he has leverage right now and has to use it. Down the line he probably won't.

In some regard, Arum's as bad as King. No one has anyone by the balls these days! GO junior!

If Chavez waits it out to fight Golovkin after his contract with Top Rank is up, I guess he can fight Golovkin without TR, but what does K2 know about promoting big PPV fights in America?

Bob arum once again trying to strong arm fighters into signing their souls away. This man has one more fight on his contract (GGG) whats the problem with him deciding if he wants to re-new his contract after that fight? **** it I hope jr doesnt resign, Let top rank crumble.

This why they dont leave Arum....they cant get the big fight unless they sign an exstension with him.

So two of Top Ranks current rising stars want out of their contract? Arum has done great work in his boxing career but it looks like the tide is turning and boxers are starting to pick up on what De La Hoya did, followed by Floyd and Cotto.

Good for Chavez jr. and Mikey Garcia for not trying to get screwed over. Chavez jr. and other boxers with that type of name should be smart and allow themselves to work with both promoters like: Mosley, Marquez, and Cotto did.

But the only people who really support Arum now is die hard Pac fans, but it just seems to be falling apart at Top Rank.
