For once I can side with Arum, how much money has this fool cost his promoter? He cost himself how much of his own purses to date? He's been suspended, called out by his trainer, called out by his own father pretty much and has turned his family name into mush..whoever is giving him more money can enjoy the headache. This kid had the tools to be something to really come out from under the silver spoon tagline that's followed him his entire life...what'd he do...he reinforced it.

Chavez is probably fighting a losing war. Golovkin is the star of that fight. I like Chavez but come on, its not tough to replace him.

Chavez wants to fight Golovkin. Arum should pay him fairly for that and keep it moving.

Extending his contract is a separate issue and has nothing to do with the GGG fight. Bob is just trying to use it as leverage to lock him up long term.

I dunno about the richard and oscar stuff but I remember even way back when the Super Six was announced, Showtime admitted they're willing to lose money for a few years in order to steal all of HBO's boxing audience. It's a long term gamble.
