3-16-96 Tyson KO's Frank Bruno to win win back the WBC belt. His next fight is against Bruce Seldon the WBA belt holder. On boxingrecords.com, it lists the fight for the WBA belt only. Did Tyson vacate the WBC after the Bruno fight? Can someone clear this up?

he only defended the wba title to avoid paying the sanctioning fee to the wbc too. this is very common cause guys dont like paying 3% per belt. or the site got it wrong. im thinking the site probably got it wrong or maybe seldon was the wba champ and tyson beat him for it who knows.

I guess the site got it wrong. Cause Tyson got the WBC, then the WBA. I thought be was befending the WBC while fighting for the WBA. After he beat Seldon, he fought Holyfeild. It lists that fight for the WBA only, even though Tyson Won back the WBC and WBA in the last two fights.

I found out on another site, that the WBC striped him of the belt after the fight for not fighting the mandatory challenger.

So he had the WBC for the fight, then that should have gone down as a succesfull defense being his 10th.

And anyone know what an RTD win is?
