Donaire even though he hesitated, stepped up to the challenge made 1.4 mil and took the risk. Mikey was about to make his 1.4 mil also, while he was nowhere the star donaire was and back out.

Like Yuri said this isn't the olympics where you train for a few months and know you will face the best in you division. Here if they know that you are a possible threat, they will keep their guy apart from you to make sure that no risks are involved.

Bring on Crawford vs Gamboa in June/July or whenever they said it will take place. Fak It

What's disappointing that when Mikey was up-and-coming and Gamboa was being pushed as a potential star on HBO, Mikey would always say that Gamboa was the one fighter he wanted, he could see the flaws, his style was made for him etc.

Then, when Mikey became established and Gamboa is on the outside looking in, they don't wanna touch the dude.

if mikey wants that kind of money he's going to need to move up in weight. guys of that size rarely, if ever make that kind of money. who does mikey think he is, anyway? king andre ward?

naseem hamed saw that kind of cheddar if you count for inflation and memory serves right. i don't have time to get barrera and morales' purses. it's easter, and i've got to get to my aunt's! she's cooking potatoes gratin, and god knows what else. sh#t's gonna be good.

One of the fights I can care less about because Gamboa is obviously falling off and Mikey Garcia is really fraudulent. Asking for 2 million is ridiculous when you don't even have a strong buzz like that. He's trying to make a Canelo purse..
