I was thinking this past week as we all know the golden boy vs top rank drama/cold war is hurting boxing. Lately GBP has taken a big leap ahead in many ways. Now its gotten to the point where fans are taking sides whether they even realize it or not. The question I want to ask everyone is we have been hoping for the 2 sides to work together and end this garbage for years. Im wondering if the only realistic way for this to end is if one or the other fails. It will leave one side with a monopoly but strictly as fans do we care as long as the fights are being made that we want to see? I just ask because it seems top rank is taking a nose dive in boxing circles with fighters trying to flee for golden boy and their numbers are also dropping fast. Not to mention they cant even use the biggest money maker in live boxing at the MGM. Right now they basically have manny or bust and the likes of Bradley, Rios, Alavrado etc etc it just seems like GBP is slowly winning the cold war and maybe in the end thats the answer we all want.
