He just called out Stevenson on tv, after the Shumenov fight.

Even said he'd go to Canada to make it happen.

I think Kovalev is a bad, bad matchup at this point in Hopkins' career. Not that I'd count Hopkins out, but I think Kovalev beats him in a fight that's depressing both because of the punches Hopkins takes, and because it would be obvious the Hopkins who first moved up to 175 would have beat him comfortably.

Kovalev would throw hard jabs and combinations which Hopkins
wouldn't be able to deal with. No disrespect to the 49 r old but
he will not take that fight, even if the money was big, his ego won't
allow him to get stretched on world wide T.V.

pathetic kovalev fans, press for a ward fight
How is it "pathetic" for the best guy in the division to fight for the belts?

We are supposed to just play along and say Hopkins is "an immortal alien making history" when he beats up nobodies but when someone asks for an actual non-paper title unification bout you say it's pathetic...

You may watch boxing to worship a specific man you have an emotional thing for but most people want the best fighter to have the belts.

I think Kovalev would be the first to stop Hopkins but in no way does that discredit what he has done. It's been unbelievable to see a fighter this old do the things he can do. He didn't look shot in any way, like he was almost in his prime. I don't know how he can possibly do this. He is part alien.
