Comments Thread For: Photos: Hopkins Makes History Again With Shumenov Win

Bernard Hopkins made more history when he beat Beibut Shumenov on a split decision in Washington on Saturday night. The 49-year-old IBF light-heavyweight champion added Shumenov’s WBA belt to his collection by winning the fight 116-111 on two cards. The other judge made Shumenov the winner by 114-113. He is now the oldest boxer to have unified two "world" titles. Just about everyone else in the crowd of nearly 7,000 at the DC Armory agreed that Hopkins had won convincingly. Shumenov was unable to find ways to land enough scoring shots as the veteran used his experience to frustrate his 30-year-old opponent.

Funny how the racist boxing fans assumed Pacquiao was on PEDs although Pacquiao has undergone Olympic Style Drug testing in a fight he dominated and has agreed to be further tested...while Hopkins refused OSDT against Pascal and has never been randomly-blood tested in any fight.

I believe that because Hopkins is African-American, people have this racist notion that he is good enough to do what he's doing naturally but when a Filipino accomplices amazing feats in boxing, he must be using PEDs.

Several threads have been made accusing Hopkins of taking PEDs.

Bruh I'm AA and I'm a HUGE Pacquiao fan. I understand your point. Most of the recent guys who tested positive are AA fighters. They're all Al Hamon guys for the most part. B-Hop is a Hamon fighter and it makes me wonder why he didn't take the OSDT.

Its probably because Hopkins doesn't necessarily look physically stronger and faster than ussual! He doesn't throw an unbelievable amount of power punches! And hasn't been knocking out bigger guys!
