Paulie needed to come back down to reality. Dudes ego was blowing up.

If paulie wouldn't have been backing away straight up he would have been fine... Idk he just seemed off from the get-go.

People had him (Malignaggi) beating Floyd, and Pacquiao a few hours before the fight. Lmao.

I don't know about that. Porter wasn't having it. Eventually Paulie would have gotten caught by something big. Dude is ferocious in the ring.

True, but he probably wouldn't have got blown out the way he did.

That's how he always fights. Paulie has no defense.

He has always done that. It is why NGoudjo caught him with right hands, why Hatton caught him with lead left hooks and right hands, Cano caught him, Cotto knocked him down, etc. Paulie's defense depends 95% on his foot speed and holding.

Damn Porter is a beast on the inside. I can't believe this is the same guy who imo lost to Julio Diaz. Idk if he had an off night that night or did some serious growing up after that but this boy can fight. I expected Alexander to easily take him in their fight but right from the onset you could see how bad Porter wanted it that night and he fought that fight at his distance. I thought if he came out with that same determination tonight he would win but I still expected it to be a close fight. But damn, he didn't give Paulie an inch to breath. Extremely impressed, can't wait to see him take another step up.
