I'm just not impressed enough with Malignaggi at this stage to call this a good win by Porter. I wish we could have seen him fight Thurman instead. This should at least show people how unimpressive Broner as a WW is.

It wasn't impressive because he beat Paulie Malinaggi, it was how he beat Paulie Malinaggi.
Malinaggi is a guy who has been in with some of the best. Cotto, Hatton, Khan.
Porter did it a lot more impressive than all those.

Very impressed with Porter tonight. He's got the power but I was most impressed with his jab. He seemed to hold his own against Paulie on the outside. Very impressive fight.

the feather fisted Malignaggi has been exposed so many yet he still has fans to back him up. Hope this shows he is a fluke and shouldn't even comment on boxing fights.

He pitipat shots just to score. Not even denting or hurting his opponents. This is the hurt game. I hope this time he remains out of any boxing conversations. It's embarrassing to watch him fight.

I think Thurman needs a few more "names" on his resume first. Porter already has Alexander and Paulie. Perhaps a Devon fight for Thurman? Then the Porter/Thurman fight IMO.

Just to let it marinate a bit more and both having well known opponents on their resumes. Porter looked like a 147pound Iron Mike in there. Impressive win.
