The Pacquiao that battered Cotto vs Roberto Duran in the classic 15 rounds format

Who wins? Duran was a bad dude in his day, but the Manny on that night would give any 140-147 fighter in history hell

Duran would catch him and knock him out... Manny has problems with morales and jmm.. Duran is a lot better than both of them... It would be an exciting fight, but "hands of stone" puts manny to sleep

Hands of stone in a classic war. I got Duran winning by 14th round ko. Hell even roach has Duran winning.

pacquiao doesn't give duran any trouble. it would be an exciting fight, but duran wouldn't be in any danger at any point. i don't think he'd even lose more than a couple of rounds.

you think marquez is a good counterpuncher and a heavy hitter?

                duran via knockout. 8-12 rounds.

people match him with some great, great fighters. historically, very few people know a good deal about the greats who fought exclusively in little man divisions. 122-130 were still manny's best weights. he beats almost all of the greats at those weights in my opinion. he was scary powerful and fast at 122-130. he had a great chin. he hurt great fighters, and took their best punches. he's famous for his work at 147, but at 122-130 he beat better fighters and was a better fighter himself. he looked scary at 140, but only fought there once. at 135 he didn't look amazing, and only fought once.

he's often matched with welterweights, and great ones to boot. he doesn't have a chance against robinson, leonard, or hearns. they're just too big and skilled. they hit too hard. they're too tall. their chins are too good. all three fought above middleweight to finish their careers. i think manny would at least have a shot with armstrong. armstrong is pretty much the consensus second best resume at welterweight, behind robinson, but he was little. armstrong and manny would be a great fight.

my top three is robinson, armstrong, and leonard. robinson and leonard knock manny out. hearns beats him the worst. same with mayweather. he was too big, and hit too hard for small welterweights. he'd just blow them out of the water.
