Is Mayweather the only fighter who...

Is Mayweather the only fighter to get crucified so much for fighting a fellow champion in the same division. Anyway i'm not a F l o m o or anything but seriously i've never heard a fighter get so much crap for fighting a fellow champion. I don't think Maidana will win but he has as much of a chance of any other welterweight out there maybe apart from Pacquiao but we've all been around in circles with that discussion. You can throw your Keith Thurman's and Lara's out there but what have they proved or achieved that Maidana hasn't?

Essentially, Floyd is getting hate because he is too good and the gulf in class between him and the world class fighters around him is too big. That's not his fault. People hate for the sake of hating without thinking about their reasons. This fight is champ v champ. At the end of the day, no matter who Mayweather fights, people will call it a cherry pick but cherry picking a fellow world champion? he's the only fighter in the world who will still get hate for that. Maidana is up there at the top of the division, this isn't some title defence against a top 100 guy.

I don't say this as a F l o m o, i say it as a fan of the sport who appreciates anybody who gets in the ring. People just want to hate for the sake of hating.

maidana isnt a champion in my eyes, neither is anybody else in the welterweight division other than mayweather, he is THE champ, the rest are contenders with belts, seriously, how many champions can there be in a division!!!

and floyd gets criticized because he claims he is the best ever, but he hasnt even fought the best in his own fcuking division for the last 5 years.

then he offers you the choice between 2 **** fights like he is doing the fans a favour! nobody wanted khan or maidana.

funny how he didnt want to resign with Arum to get the fighst he had been asking for and the only way he was going to fight Marg was the sign with Arum again. Cotto and Arum didnt want any parts of Floyd. Pac ducked Floyd just like Cotto did. Who else fought PWill?

Well if you look at it.

Guerrero super slow flat foot and tailormade
                Ortiz tailormade
                Maidana tailormade slow flat foot
Canelo was weight drained bad and tailormade

are all champions but they are the equivalent to David Diaz type champion.

Now if he fought a prime Cotto, prime Pacquiao, prime Margarito, Prime Paul Williams, when they were champions it would be awe inspiring.

only reason he took the Zab Judah fight was because slow ass Baldomir out boxed him, so Floyd knew he could do the same to Zab, at first Floyd didn't want to fight Zab there was an interview on max boxing where Floyd and Zab were buddy buddy years ago and Floyd said this is my brother right here.

Floyd doesn't fight slick black fighters for some reason, or guys with foot speed. and he avoids iron chin pressure fighters who have high volume of punches and don't back down from punches with high stamina. He will fight Zab Judah who is mainly fast handed but doesn't use a lot of foot movement. I think Floyd cannot time both, he isn't as smart as people think he is in the ring, he is smart at picking the right guys.

He exposed himself when Cotto started jumping around on his toes and confusing him in spurts, Floyd had difficulty reading it and kept getting hit easy with a left jab, if Floyd was so good how come he had no head movement and kept getting hit with the left jab in the middle of the ring when Cotto was dancing on his toes?

Also he sold that BS line how Cotto was undefeated because his losses were to guys who cheated, and Pacman drained him by 2 pounds yet he drains Canelo lol. Who takes Floyd serious this guy is a hype job con man.

I think Tim Bradley would be a good test for Floyd to see just how good his skills really are.

Why didn't Arum get Floyd the Mosley, DLH, and Cotto fights in 2004-2005 when Floyd asked him for those guys?
