Why doesn't Quigg want to prove he's ready for Guillermo Rigondeaux?

He needs a few more 'big' fights before Rigo.

Do you really need to ask this question?

He never says Carl Frampton either.

Quigg knows he's not ready... as long as he isn't hiding and calling him out like he's ready.

He did mention him in this article, along with Santa Cruz and Kiko Martinez. Says they even sent Frampton an offer.

Quigg has been ducking Frampton quite badly. It has always been one reason or another. For a while it was that Quigg is "ahead" in his career from Frampton, but if you look at the quality of opposition it was evident both are the same. Frampton being top amateur didn't need too many bum fights to reach the 20 mark.

As for the offer, these guys know Frampton being with Boxnation can't accept it cuz Quigg is now with Hearn ie Sky.

Yes you are correct about Quigg mentioning Frampton and has done so numerous times, heck he even guaranteed him a bout to his face in an interview they did together a while back.

Eddie Hearn in an interview today said he's spoke to McGuigan this week and that he's trying to make the Quigg v Frampton fight this year.

Otherwise he wants Quigg to fight Martinez or Santa Cruz. Hearn has pretty much admitted that by the time Quigg is mandatory for Rigondeaux they hope to have another belt so they can vacate the WBA.
