Paulie's claim to fame is the fact that he is a very good boxer that lacks punching power. He's always going against the odds when he's fighting elite or near elite fighters because he can't hurt them. But he has a ton of heart and a very good beard. Paulie uses every ounce of smarts that he possesses to overcome his lack of power and he has become champion at 140 and 147. That's commendable. Also, he's an excellent commentator who gives great insight on what's happening in the ring (little things that the average fan won't even notice).

He only has 5 losses by the way.

He had the genius idea of getting hair extensions before the fight, tied in a loose pony tail. Within seconds the ponytail fell apart and his hair was flying all over the place getting in his face causing a major distribution. His corner first tried to tape it with glove tape, didn't work so eventually they cut it.
