    Ricky Hatton vs Marcos Maidana?

    Who wins that fight if they both fought in their prime?

    Hatton's prime was probably around the time he beat Tszyu and Maidanas prime was probably around the time he got whupped by Khan..

          Maidanas weakness seems to be going to the body, I actually think Maidana improved significantly under Garcia, if its the Maidana that fought Khan Ricky might outwork him and put in a decent amount of work to the body.

          If its the Maidana that fought Broner it might be different.

              Maidana's run at 140 is not that impressive.

              Kotelnik (disputed loss)
              Ortiz (win in a fight he was losing)
              Corley (disputed win)
              Khan (loss)
              Morales (win, but not impressive)


              Maidana would have a much better chance against Hatton at 147 where RH never looked good.

                      Hatton was better. Maidana is kinda soft to the body and limited skill-wise. The guy lost to amir friggin khan and was shutout by devon alexander for crying out loud. Hatton went up to 147 and fought a southpaw in Luis Collazo and fought on even terms. Chino went up and got schooled by Alexander. He also lost 4 to 5 rounds against the ghost of Erik Morales. He's a fun fighter to watch, good for boxing as he makes entertaining fights, but he is certainly limited at the top level.

                      Hatton was obviously no master boxer but he could outbox Maidana the way he did Tackie & Urango, or make it an ugly fight up close and maul Maidana, weakening him to the body.

                              Except that he hasn't gotten up everytime after a body shot. The improved Maidana wins.

                                  maidana is a slower version of hatton muchhhh slower with a lil more power but that body would get wrecked
