    What gives?

Normally featherfists dont really load up, guys like paulie and even joe, they dont throw hard shots

Bradley though, he throws BOMBS but they just dont do ****
first of all bradley isnt featherfisted. hes not a big pucnher for sure but the vast majority of his opponents respected his power and he dropped or hurt several world class fighters. he is a solid puncher, heavy handed type guy though who has weight on his shots but very little snap. his one punch KO power is very limited but he isnt featherfisted, he will wear you down if he touches you enough.

    but to answer the question..

    1. too much muscles. anyone can get big muscles, dont make you a puncher though. in fact it can damage your power if you fight too far above your natural weight or lose speed (hence snap) by gaining too much bulk.

    2. what you said. he loads up so much he almost falls over at times. but those punches easy to see, i mean seriously how can somebody get caught off guard the way he basically sends a memo anytime he is about to let a big punch go? the punches that hurt you are the ones you dont see, even when bradley lands big shots his opponents are generally riding the shot since bradley hardly ever catches anyone off guard with his bombs. he just doesnt know how to set his shots up which to me is what makes a truly great puncher since hitting hard doesnt mean **** if you cant connect cleanly with an unsuspecting target.

2b. same mistake resulting in a different issue. he loads up so much he gets off balance at times, thats poor technique. proper from when throwing a power punch is to rotate without falling in, everyone knows that by falling in you leave yourself vulnerable for counters. but you also lose power because your bodyweight isnt behind the punch, its behind your torso after the punch has already been thrown causing you to fall in to begin with. basically bradley gets a **** load of leverage and weight when he punches, he just fails to put it behind the actual punch. very poor weight distribution.

    3. genetics, punchers are born not made.

        Your opinion.

That's your opinion. He fought an all-time great. Manny's chin is granite. According to some ******s, his chin isn't what it was but I think it is. If Bradley would've been fighting a lesser fighter, his punching power would've shown more.

He has a very small bone structure, not very broad in terms of generating leverage naturally (wider shoulder girdle improves this immensely) and has short limbs. Muscles have very little to do with punching power.

Same reason you can only lift a fraction of lbs of what you can lift with your legs. No legs, he cant transfer that power to his punch, so when he punches he only throw as hard as he cant lift, Unless he some monster benching 300+ he not going to do damage.
he does bench over 300, he said so.
                its his technique .

He's a pretty sharp puncher at times but not heavy handed or a finisher.

have u watch the provo fight?
                      provo looked like a mess
                      and also the marquez fight
marquez face after the fight is lightly mess

does not mean pac can handle his punches he does not have power
pacs chin has been able to withstand heavy fighters punchers u have to time pac coming in to KO
bradleys power is average and he could KO fighters with average chin
