    The final press conference took place for the light heavyweight unification taking place on Saturday night, as WBA champion Beibut Shumenov of Kazakhstan went face to face with WBC champion Bernard Hopkins. Hopkins, already boxing's oldest-ever world champion at 49, is looking to keep rewriting the record books when he faces Shumenov. The takes place at the DC Armory in Washington, DC.       Should be a nice weekend of boxing. Some interesting fights going down.

      I wish Shumenov would pull it off but IMO he is just too mechanical / robotic for the crafty / slippery Hopkins. We will see though, age can catch up HARD at any given moment at this point.

                    I actually like all the guys but this card does not inspire me that much. Hopefully it will turn out okay. Seems like a guarantee for no KO's except maybe the Quillin fight.
