I would say it is kind of a lateral move, Arizona could be pretty bad and still be equal to Texas.

lol at the main being in Corpus.

Got an American vs a Cuban... then the co-main is an Austrlian vs an Irishman

Seems odd, East Coast would've been nice

Jenning's east coast guy, Perez has fought only on the east coast although one was in Montreal of his two North American fights. Macklin and Gaele have only really (the only exception being a Vegas fight for Macklin) fought East Coast also. If Rodriguez was still fighting on that card he would be an east coaster also.

Seems like an Atlantic City card to me, but New Jersey has higher taxes than Texas and I can't see this card being big business anywhere so it is probably a wash slight advantage to Texas in terms of money making.

Just seemed odd to be in arizona in the first place. Guess they're hoping boxing fans in Texas will want to come out. Shoot, I would if I was there....

Yea, Arizona was kind of odd but it is a solid card so they should be able to sell it regardless. I think it will come down to how much they try to sell it, or are they just trying to cash that HBO check but looking at their pick of locations I am going with the latter.
