I would be rooting for GGG all the way but there's no chance he's beating Chavez. Jr is just too resilient and I don't believe Golovkin can weather his punches. Wish it wasn't so, but that's just how this one goes down.

Sounds good, but i'm sure if he doesn't sign that extension (just like Manny, Bradley, Mikey Garcia, etc.) He won't get the megafight. Then everyone will label Chavez Jr. a duck, when all he is trying to do get his due.

I completely disagree. I think GGG will have too much power. I'm assuming GGG will be carrying his power to 168.

Not a fan of Chavez Jr...he's lazy and spoiled like J. Clowney. Golovkin will out work him over 12 rounds for a decision win..in an underwhelming fight.

By watching Golpe a Golpe and A Los Golpes in ESPN Chavez Sr. and Jr. over and over again had reassured that they DO want this fight. Chavez Jr. has said that he is looking at the contract extension terms but that the fight is pretty much agreed with the extension being the hold up.

They seem very confident that they can take GGG.

                  Great fight IMHO.

I agree. Golovkin is far too skilled for Chavez. It's a Martinez style beating, and maybe even a stoppage.

IF they do fight the thoroughbred Chavez Jr. beats Golovkin, Chavez Jr. can box on the backfoot and in his last fight he fought like Chavez Sr. in certain moments of the fight.......Chavez Jr. is better than people think, Chavez Jr. wins, people think Golovkin is a monster but he has only fought tomato cans and potato sacks, in the Chavez Jr. vs Martinez fight Chavez Jr. with marijuana in his system almost knocked out Martinez in, out of all rounds, the 12th rd.........a 100% Chavez Jr. will beat Gennady with skill, technique, Ring IQ, and stamina
