I think prime for prime it'll be a tough fight. I think Oscar would win though

Would a prime De La Hoya have beaten Mayweather?

i hate both but i still think Floyd is too crafty for any version of DLH...it would be close but if i had to put money on it, i wouldn't hesitate betting on Floyd
plus it would be a big fight...we all know Oscar loses those

Yes i think prime oscar could beat floyd....
It would be close, but oscar had a good workrate and his jab would neutralize floyd's speed advantage...
I think it would look alot like the oscar-pernell fight,
115-113 SD win for oscar

2 or 3 years before floyd initially fought ODLH. Floyd was chasing him.Floyd was considered a high risk low reward.
There was a mayweather fight(Iforgot which one) where RJJ and company was saying it would not be wise for ODLH to fight him.

55/45, leaning towards Oscar, because of how busy and quick a prime Oscar would be. Plus the jab. The one thing I think Floyd would have the drop on Oscar is the fact that his left hook wouldn't work on Floyd's defense. And Oscar never had a scary right hand.
Honestly could go either way.

A prime Oscar.. probably would put the sort of whooping on Floyd that the boxing world deserves to see.
Don't forget he was a deceptively powerful in his prime and I wouldn't be surprised if he even stopped FMJ
