See, this is what I don't like about May's worshipers, they think their idol is somewhat of android that cannot be beaten. First of he always play it safe, ie; by choosing his opponents carefully. Second, he won't engage on a toe to toe battle with anyone who have a punchers chance (nothing wrong with that, him just being smart) third, he will pot shot his opponent once he feel his opponent and cruise into a snooze fest until the final bell ring. I wouldn't write Chino off yet, he still have that 1% chance, very slim but a chance nonetheless. If some how Chino landed his punches no matter where it landed he won't get frustrated. Land those punches on Mays elbows, hips, head, it doesn't matter as long it lands, he'll be ok.Comment

I hope he does better than I am thinking.
Broner underestimated him, maybe Floyd will too.Last edited by Boxing Goat; 04-16-2014, 01:24 PM.Comment

See, that just isn't true, I am one of his most ardent worshipers and all I have done since before this fight was officially announced is champion Maidana and fight for the respect, credit, and the acknowledgement of a legit shot that he deserves.Comment

See, that's the thing, May doesn't underestimate his opponent. He is always ready and very intelligent calculated boxer, that's what he is known for, and very good at it. The only thing Chino could do to take him out of his game is to get close and throw a 5hit load of punches that lands, body, elbows arms chest, whatever. As long as Chino don't concentrate on his jaw and just land those punches, eventually he will catch him and land his punch straight to Mays jaw. Easy to say than done, and that's where Chinos concentration and patience to land that big punch will be the key to his victory.Comment

You guys miss the point. Chino is in a T-shirt and it's three weeks before the bout. Obviously, he's having problems getting into shape. Last time I seen him he had a gut. He wore the T-shirt so no one would see his body. He will make 147, but will be completely out of shape.
What was this guy thinking? Maybe that he needed the extra weight. Or just maybe that Floyd (cherry) picked him and Chino did not have the time to train.Comment

I applaud you then, you are one of the few May's crouch shiner that have real knowledge of the sport, not like the others that let their faith clouded their minds.Comment
