Some of you are really acting rediculous with your comments. I somewhat agree with him though. I'd say Oscar, Canelo because of their styles would beat Maidana almost garaunteed but styles like Mosley's and Hattons would not fair up well against Maidana. Cotto I'm 50/50 on cause Cotto does break down from pressure but he can box and punch aswell so it's a hard one to pick. Maidana vs Castillo would be a a pretty good fight! Maidana vs Guerrero could be a pretty good fight too depending on if Guerrero could handle the power.

agreed. Hatton is better in almost every way. But I think Maidana would do well against Hatton. Rickys a bit undersized at welter. Pick em fight.

Maidana is having his 15 minutes of fame he deserves it. He will come back to earth soon enough. Let's just forget Alexander shut him out, he got outboxed by Kotelnik, struggled against Morales and Corley, lost to Khan, etc.

He has made slight improvements with Garcia, but he's also faced easier competition.

Maidana does not win fantasy fights. Everyone thinks he's a bum because he doesn't meet the "eye test" I keep hearing about.

I dont think Maidana is a bum. I picked him to beat Broner. I just dont think he comes close to beating Cotto, Canelo, the Mosley that beat Margarito, Marquez, or even Robert Guererro.

Castillo, Hatton, DLH, Cotto, Canelo, Mosley, Marquez would all beat him.

Maidana is not some devastating pressure fighter. He has been hurt and dropped plenty of times before. If Alexander was able to tie him up and frustrate him then Hatton would have had his way with him. Cotto had problems with Margarito because he ate all of Cotto's punches, and he took no breaks. Maidana takes breaks and does wilt from body punching.

Mosley would move and tie up and outbox Maidana. If a shot Morales can outbox Maidana in streches then Marquez and Castillo can do the same.

Depends on which version of Mosley we are talking. I think he beats the one Mayweather and Pacquiao beat. Garcia even said the bigger guys like Canelo and Oscar would give them problems.
