    Viloria Wins by UD

WBC mini-flyweight champion Brian Viloria (18-0, 12 KOs) punished Jose Antonio Aguirre (33-4-1, 20 KOs) over twelve brutal rounds to retain his 108lb belt by unanimous decision Saturday night at the Aladdin Resort in Las Vegas. Aguirre had a big round three strafing Viloria along the ropes for an extended period, but Viloria's superior punching power gave him the edge in most rounds as he won by scores of 116-112, 116-112, 117-111. Aguirre, a former longtime WBC minimumweight champion, has now lost three consecutive 108lb title shots.

I haven't checked but it seems that Brian took a loooong time to only get win number 18.
      Is this right?
Should this kid be a lot more active?

Villoria has only 18 fights, his challenger has 38 fights with 34 wins, so I'll say indeed Villoria is a real warrior.

Aguirre put up a galant fight and refused to be dominated but Villoria's punches took it's toll on him in the middle rounds and loss steam.

        Arce/Villoria should be next.

It was a good learning fight for Viloria.Realisticaly his opponents are still being well chosen,Aguirre was coming off of 2 KO loses.Viloria needs good experience like any good young fighter.
