Rigo may surpass Floyd, but as of this post, he's a gifted amateur comparing himself to an ATG.

Rigo is more technical wheras Floyd relieis a bit more on athletics but both are very similar in that they have exceptionally high ring IQ, and have very high technical abilities, not to mention both are superb athletes as well. There are distinct differences in their styles, however, and approaches.

Rigo might just be the most technical fighter of all time.

He's pretty much the embodiment of a boxing textbook.

I think Floyd started off very technical, but has adopted a style more suited to his body type and his major league pro career.

Rigo is still fighting like he's participating in the Olympics.

Would it be wrong to say Rigo isn't a complete boxer because he hasn't shown us a real inside fighting arsenal?

Or is the counter argument to that going to be "He's so good he doesn't need to fight on the inside"

Floyd has shown more technical aspects in ring so far. Offensively and defensively. Offensively technical when inside, outside, in the pocket, off the ropes, going backwards, going forward, countering, cutting the ring off, etc..

Defensively technical when shoulder rolling, bobbing and weaving, High guard. etc..

Im sure Rigo is more technical at certain things, but has not shown the overall technicality of Floyd.

"Author". Disrespectful to the past greats.

Floyd wouldn't even have a textbook without his daddy and uncle.

There's a lot of things Floyd does that only he can do because his build is perfect for that style. His arm length is insane for his height.

it was an exaggeration lol, just poking fun at the people who have rigo on the same level as floyd, esp. historically
