it's like shrinking wlad into a mini version of himself (same height same weight as rigo) and matching them together. do you really think wlad would win? no...........he'd get out witted, picked apart, & demolished.

    wtf..............

So you are basically comparing a limited guy with average skills to the Olympic gold medalist who now dominates the sport for a decade?

Boxing goat? Did Ali say this?

On a serious note, I'd rank Wlad higher but wouldn't mind if someone had Rigo higher.

        Here's why:

Wlad has dominated as THE heavyweight champion for almost a decade.

Wlad is the most complete fighter in his division and head and shoulders above everyone else (same can probably be said for Rigo but his only real challenge has been Nonito)

His jab is one of the best in the game and overall skill package is comparable to almost anyone in the sport, yes he lacks a good inside game but he makes up for it with terrific movement for a heavyweight, fast hands and immense power.

Rigo has Wlad beat on all round skill by a hairs breadth, but Wlad has superior power and superior achievement. So Id rank Wlad higher.

          If the question is

"If you used a shrink ray on Wlad and didn't allow him to make any stylistic changes despite losing 50-60% of his body weight who would win?"

The obvious answer to that ridiculous rigged question is Rigo. He would beat any heavyweight in history under those circumstances. Hell so would Donaire, Darchinyan, etc.

          If the question is

"If you made both fighters into middleweights and allowed them to adapt their styles to that weight, based on the P4P track record of each fighter, who do you think would win?

In that case I would say Wlad

Pavlik was a undefeated lineal champ with only defeats to Hopkins and serg..

Remind me again who is as good as Hopkins and serg that wlad fought...

How would wlad adapt styles to beat rigo... Wouldn't rigo adapt as well then..

What is "adapt" or "adapting". Are you saying that if wlad adapted better skills he could beat rigo... If so, then that proves the point that wlad's skills are p4p better than rigo

                    Yeah, your point being...

Think of p4p as what Vegas oddsmakers do..

If rigo and wlad had a h2h fight, Vegas would have rigo the favorite, why? Because he is the more skilled and better fighter
