would have been one of the weirdest looking match ups in history. logic dictates p-will, but i can't help think that maybe cotto and his alligator arms could sneak a luck body shot or two that could change the complexion of the fight in the midst of that hurricane.

Wow, I actually believe Cotto would put a beat down on em. Paul had the physical attributes, tools, and natural make up to fit a true ATG athlete, but the boys Ring IQ is about the same as Brandon Rios's. I'm sorry, but I gotta ride with Miguel on this one. Would have been one hell of a fight. True blood war that would be looked back at as one of the ATG Welterweight showdowns of this era.

Cotto gets KTFO in 8 or less
Williams is too tall, fast, long, and throws too much
Cotto's defense sucks and he'd never get inside on Williams
nothing to stop Williams from throwing like crazy until Cotto dropped

Cotto by a clear UD. PW is so overrated on here.

The question posted is not even clear..

So a Prime Paul Williams against a Cotto after Margacheato at 147?

Or a prime Cotto at 147 before Margacheato?

PW wins if after Margacheato and Cotto breaks ribs before Margacheato at 147.. Simple..

Williams wins against any version of Cotto. Pressure and volume would be too much for Miguel.
