Chino has been there with top guys in too different divisions and has proven himself against top ten opposition several times. Also, I would favor Chino against Porter.
the same reasons you have given in the first paragraph can also be applied to maidana. i remember his fight with morales! porter got a good win against devon, maidana got a good win against broner. thats it!

Broner is way better than alexander!

Everybody was saying that broner was the next big thing , the next mayweather and after he got schooled by maidana it seems broner was a piece of s.h.i.t and maidana beat a nobody

true, but it gives you an idea of the sort of level of fighter that can beat maidana. its incredible the amount of people who are now riding the maidana train. its exactly the same as matthysse. i like chino, his fights are usually good to watch, but get real people, after he gets schooled by floyd they will be saying the same thing about maidana before he beat broner. he is an exciting brawler that is technically limited to say the least.

had mayweather chosen another fight, nobody would be rating maidana like they are. its ridiculous propaganda.

not at all, maidana beat a ****y little twat that thought he was gods gift, the reality is he struggled with paulie malignaggi. whilst he may be a 3 division champion, look at who he has beat!!!! nobody of note.

thats not to discredit maidanas victory, i wouldnt say he schooled him, he beat him fair and square.

He is a different fighter since going to Garcia and like someone else has pointed out he only has one loss at 147 and that was to Alexander. A loss that he attributes to not have a real camp/trainer before the fight.

He has proven himself against top opposition, Porter had a great performance against Alexander, but that could be a fluke. Saturday will be very telling.

He was pretty much seen as the best in the world at 135 when he fought there. Not saying a lot since it was a weak division at the time, but it's not like Broner is a bum. He was a legit belt holder in 3 weight divisions.
