I agree about legacy but....Floyd will go to the HOF without Pac on his resume.
Pac will go without Floyd on his resume.

Both fighters feel they don't need each other

I guess they don't know that Mayweather Spends alot of money as well as goldenboy promotions to promote and advertise his fights.

      He spends millions......

Pac wouldn't be entitled to use his own money to promote a fight with Floyd.
All he would have to do is show up.

Floyd offered 40 million which is way more than Pac has ever made and will ever make in one night.

People keep talking crazy like Floyd and Manny could both make 100 million apiece if they ever fought...which is total BS

Do you know how many PPV's they would have to sell in order for May/Pac to both get 100 million?

My point is......40 million was very fair for Pacquiao and he was an idiot for passing it up.
At this present time, Floyd doesn't need the money. Whatever happened then is what it is. Now, we are in 2014, the slate is clean. Both are superstars, champions, etc. Floyd's ****** rich, he WILL make a TON off this fight regardless. So now, what...? What would you like to follow up with?

Give Floyd 100 million and Pac and Arum 60 million and Showtime, HBO, The MGM, etc, can fight for the remaining revenue. But pct split, at this point, Mayweather should get at least 65% pct based on their ppv track records over the last 3-5 years.

My follow up......Floyd spends money like an idiot to be quite frank with you.
He also gambles like a mad man.

He spends more on 1 car than what most fighters get for fight purses in their careers.

You better believe Floyd needs every dime buddy.

He'd offer pac a flat fee. No pct of revenue would be up for discussion on floyds side. Flat fee or nothing. Id project an offer from 35-45 mill.

Floyd thinks about history. As idiotic as it seems, he thinks he is the GOAT.

In the historical perspective Ali needed Frazier. Leonard needed Hearns etc. The thing is that to be a real great fighter, you need a great opponent and a great fight. Pac is the only one at WW that presents that package potentially. Let us forget the fact that the fight is more than 5 years too late for a moment.

Well he offered him a flat fee with a 100/0 split of the revenue last time.

Which apparently was a "great offer" (if you Floyd's jism in every orifice.)

40 mil is a lot of money, I'll agree on that. But negotiating is what makes it fair. You can't just tell pacquiao "take it or leave it". You say it's ****** to not except. but wouldn't it be ****** to just say "ok" and leave money on the table like that. Pacquiao is an established star he's entitled to a fair negotiation process just as Floyd is.

He's not one of these other guys who this may be their only shot at the big stage...

and how much do you think floyd would make if pac has to accept a $40 million flat fee? don't you think he would make something way more than he would ever make in any other fight?
