    I doubt Manny resigns with Arum, unless there's a clause that allows him to fight Floyd independently. Pacquiao can follow the Cotto blueprint, and maximize his earnings the next few years if he's smart. Signing with Arum would be more about protection than money, because all thats left on TR roster is soft touches.

        That is true, and they would likely pay too much in a pure profit and loss sense. It would be a matter of prestige, and how long would it take for HBO (if ever) to get them back in a similar way.

        So you could argue they could lose a lot of money and they would still win (how much would it raise the profile of their brand).
