    Arthur retains his belts

    who watched the fight? , i though it was a great fight and they boy showed great sportsmanship at the end off it , there was a few tyms where i though arthur was gonna drop burns but burns stayed up.
    what were your views of the fight

    It was a good fight. First few rounds Burns was countering Arthur pretty well but Burns didnt really have any power in his punches. After that Arthur took control of the fight and punished him to the body... Burns showed a lot of heart to stay in there.

      yeah i dont think he could find his power , burns fought one of the pros from out gym and knocked him down twice in the 2nd round , the fight went on and i think it went to points

        Arthur looked good, he's closing the distance and infighting much better than I've seen him in the past. He was disciplined - chin down, hands up - sharp, accurate artillery and very persistant. He's a good European level fighter, but I don't think he could step up against a Barrera.

        Burns was gutsy and rangey, he fights better from distance - backing away and winging counters in. Burns needs to learn to throw tight punches on the inside if he wants to be a future British champion, because it does seem he hardly has any up-close infighting ability at all and you do need some.

            Oh and Arthur's body punching is looking better than ever, he's got some ****y body punching now (since I last saw him a few years back).
