Comments Thread For: Arum: Bradley's Value Went Up By Choosing To Brawl

Top Rank's CEO, Bob Arum, believes Timothy Bradley made a career-boosting decision to brawl with Manny Pacquiao in their rematch on Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Pacquiao won a solid twelve round unanimous decision to recapture the WBO welterweight championship.

In the June of 2012, Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over Pacquiao. Outside of the widely disputed decision, there was little to be desired from the in-ring action.

      Arum is full of it

If he believes that he should try and make it a pay per view so he can see how wrong he is. Bradleys a good fighter a classy guy definetley main event on regular hbo but no way a person people are dying to see fight

That punch he threw trying to imitate the JMM KO that completely missed was hilarious. Pac didn't even move an inch towards it.

I would have respected him more had he tried winning with a sensible gameplan instead of clowning around and trying to land haymakers.

I give him credit for trying at least... He tried out boxing him last time and got a robbery decision. He found out that he couldn't hope for another gift decision like that... He went balls to the wall and came up short..

I don't understand why Bradley fought that way at all.

I WOULDN'T pay to see Bradley fight.

In all honesty, I like Bradley as a person but in no way would I pay to see him fight anyone. He has nothing that he does great. He just fights a boring style. And his stock in no way went up. Now no one will watch him fight. Kind of like Bernard Hopkins.

No. His stock went down for fighting like an idiot and then went further down for blaming it on his calfs.

i'd think bradley's value went up a bit. let's give him credit for fighting like a real warrior and it's hard to disrespect fighters like timmeh.
