Female pound for pound boxer Cecilia Braekhus' promotional woes have rubbed off all the way on South African after two promoters got embroiled in a row over a possible Braekhus opponent Noni Tenge.

This is after Andile Sidinile of Sijuta Promotions negotiated with Sauerland Events to have Tenge challenge Braekhus for the WBA, WBO and WBC welterweight titles in Germany in June while Mamali Promotion boss Siphatho Handi had arranged for Tenge to fight for the WBA interim welterweight title against Dominican ********** Oxandia Castillo in East London, South African on May 31.

If things work out with Sauerland and Braekhus, Sauerland should pay Oxandia Castillo to step away. Chevelle Hallback has several times stated she is interested in a fight with Castillo. She could step in for Tenge against Castillo

it's 2 bad she is so large 4 a woman, as her opposition w/wbo has been limited & poor...boxer 4 boxer she has not fought the competition of a Ana Maria Torres or Jackie Nava...

Actually I beg to differ. You are absolutely right, she does not have the same amount of competition in her weight class. But none the less she has fought her way to the top of the p4p list. That basically means she has fought soon all the quality opposition out there. While the girls in the lower divisions can work their way too the top fighting easier competition.
