While most eyes are on the highly anticipated rematch between Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao, boxing continues on around the world. Fox Deportes presents live boxing action Saturday evening, with unbeaten Roberto Ortiz (30-0-1, 23KO) faces Ramiro Alcarez (14-3-1, 8KO) in a scheduled 12-round super lightweight battle in Cancun, Mexico.
Ortiz is in the hunt for an eventual title shot at reigning 140 lb. king Danny 'Swift' Garcia, though barely survived his last challenge, a narrow points win over Reyes Sanchez last October. Alcarez came within a couple of rounds of repeating a previous upset win over Antonio Lozado, coming up short in their rematch last December.
