And let's assume that Pac-Bradley has very few secondary market tickets and is mainly selling on Ticketmaster. If that's the case then Top Rank can't be too happy that there are still a lot of seats available right this moment, hours away from the event.
There were only like around 1300 tickets left yesterday out of like 16k seats or so, and those were mostly the cheap seats. That's about 8% unsold seats. Hardly a disaster for Arum.

I couple days ago I mentioned there were only 730 tickets on TiqIQ.com for the pac fight. Now there's only 81. They always sell fast in the last couple days before the fight. The ticketmaster ones will probably too. Probably not a complete sell out, but close.

And whether Mayweather has made his money already or not, I give zero shits about. The burden of sales simply got shifted to someone else. What I am interested in is fan demand to gauge the health of the sport. The only type of sell out that matters to me is a fan-bought-sell out, not a broker sellout, which is why it annoys me when promoters announced first day near sellouts when they simply put half the tickets in secondary market.

The May 3 fight between Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana is just short of a sellout at this point, with Richard Schaefer crediting the full lineup and all the fighters for the success.

          mayweather CEO?

ellerbe probably cuts floyd's steak and checks him into hotels.

remember when we had a guy in the lounge bragging about his father being the beachboy's b#tch?

So what is it that you're implying? That if brokers weren't involved we would see that there is more fan demand for Pac-Bradley than for Mayweather-Maidana?

I would find that very hard to believe.

              I wouldn't be surprised if Pac-Bradley outdid Floyd-Chino.

I never claimed that. Mayweather-Maidana may still very well sell out by fight night, but it's not there yet. The target of my posts have mostly been aimed at these type of hurr durr "Mayweather has already sold more tickets than Pacquiao!" posts.

The way I see it is that us dollar is better than a lot of currencies. As far as actual views world wide...its not rocket science.

How has the company failed when they have the biggest draw in the sport?

One fighter makes Mayweather Promotions more money than all the other companies combined.
