    I agree on Gatti-Ward, Toney-Jirov, Trinidad-Mayorga, and Morales-Pacquiao.

I would have DLH-Mosley I, instead of II. I would also have Trinidad-Vargas, and Durán-Barkley, Durán-Moore, or Durán-Leonard. I can't believe Durán was passed by when HBO chose the first 12 shows. Whitaker-Chávez would be a good choice because of how schocking it was, for some, to see Chávez dominated like that.

Benn-Mcclelan would of been a good one.
Explosive fight with alot of story behind it, the will of the underdog.
If only it was telecasted on HBO rather than showtime.

wlad/sanders wasnt really legendary. tyson/mcbride wasnt on HBO. jirov/toney was a good fight, but not legendary. likewise for tito/mayorga, and pac/marquez. DLH/mosley was NOT legendary nor a very good fight. there was nothing legendary about forrest/mayorga.

the only ones they could do (from this list) are lewis/vitali, gatti/ward, morales/pac, barerra/pac, and sort of hopkins/taylor.

        i suggest gatti/ward, lewis/vitali, morales/barerra, morales and barrera vs pac, gatti/mayweather, hopkins/DLH, johnson/tarver, and maybe tarver/jones.

How was Gatti Ward legendary, but Toney/Jirov wasn't?

Toney/Jirov had every bit of action and drama that Gatti/Ward had, Toney/Jirov are on a much higher level skill wise than are Gatti/Ward, and it also had much more dramatice effects on the two fighters careers...

This was one of the greatest cruiserweight fights ever.

I forgot to include Barrera-Hamed. That fight's result was a surprise for many real and casual fans of the sport.

yes, it was one of the greatest CW fights ever, but it was not a trilogy, it did NOT have the gatti/ward drama, it wasnt as faced paced, it wasnt as exciting, it was not fight of the year (but it couldve been), and it happend once.

very different and noticably inferior to the gatti/ward trilogy.

I actually agree that the Gatti Ward trilogy should be packaged in there...like the Holy/Bowe series was earlier.

I just can't see how Toney/Jirov should NOT be included...among the other fights that you said should be. The only thing you said that I could give you is that it wasn't a trilogy. It was as exciting and dramatic a fight as I've seen in the last 6 years. Manny Steward would probably agree with me.

                  Agree to disagree I guess.
