Was Peter Manfredo-Scott Pemberton a setup?

I just watched the fight now, and Pemberton was horrible.
Manfredo dosen't hit that ****in hard and Scott was all over the place, that last overhand right which knocked him down hardly made contact. (If any at all)
He was slow, weary and every touch from Peter wobbled him. Is this a setup or was Pemberton that ****?

I think it was setup because i know Pemberton wanted to buy a house for his family so i think he put money on himself to lose and cashed in.Pemberton has a good chin and Manfredo desn't hit hard, also Pemberton never threw a punch with any intentions of hurting Manfredo.

i dont think it was a set up i think pemberton was just shot he was just coming off having his head ripped off by jeff lacy. i dont know why so many find it that hard to believe that pemberton lost manfredo came in at about 180 that night.

pemberton doesnt have a good chin look at his recent fights. hes washed up. listen to the way he talks his speech pattern has slowed down. he was already damaged goods. manfredo straight up won the fight this was not a set up.

So in other words, no matter what Manfredo does from here on out, it will be a set up. He can step up in competition and win in impressive fashion, but it was a setup.

Manfredo may not hit that hard (as if any of us really know. Ever been in the ring with him? I havent), but he did come in unofficially at about 180 for that fight, just as Scott was at 182. Extra weight adds to the punching power. Just ask Diego Corrales.

He won because he nailed Scott with a terrific uppercut, and from that point on, the fight was over. Scott did not react well and got hit too much. It is his own fault. He had no gameplan other than to land his right hand.

You could have come to that conclusion prior to his fight with Manfredo.

Scully says he didn't train Pemberton for the fight. Could be Lacy did some permanent damage to him. Ettienne was getting floored by missed punches in his last fights. Some kind of neuro damage eventually shows itself in many fighters who hang around.
