I just rewatched Cotto vs Clottey...

Yeah it was a robbery, but it reminded me of DLH-Trinidad in a way. Clottey basically took the championship rounds off. He sat back and blocked 20 punches then made a face, but he wasn't throwing **** back and let Cotto steal rounds.

Clottey won the fight, but I've never really felt too bad for him. He was fighting in Cottos adopted hometown against a cash show and he got dropped in the first round. He needed to fight every minute of every round to get that decision, but he didn't.

it was a close fight but I had CLottey winning.


Also COtto has improved since that fight. His body and training has improved to world class IMO along with his experience as a world class fighter.

None of this matters, June 7th, Cotto is taking that title from Martinez. There is nothing that can be said or done to change that. It's destiny.
