It's 2 days from a fight that still has plenty of tickets available. It's pretty obvious what Bob is trying to do by making a loud stink at this particular point in time.

its a good angle...Bob isn't gonna go thru with this lawsuit tho...a 3rd party was contracted and Floyd bought that ad space for an entire year

what's MGM supposed to do? they were contractually obligated and there was no paperwork in play that would prevent Floyd/MGM from doing that

Uncle Bob is just mad because he got one-upped

The thing Bob Arum hates most of all, I can certainly feel him being mad and angry Arum talks which is fun for us all. Bob is litigious but I do think he knows that is not a battle that he should fight, at least after he calms down.

Surprised this hasn't been an issue before really, what I find funny is that at the last NSAC hearing Du Bouf was complain about MGM giving Floyd or GBP the dates blind without knowing the fights first, I guess having him go there to make that point was a big waste of time.

I think the question becomes do they want to work with him, but money trumps all which is why I am sure he went to MGM in the first place they paid the biggest site fee, so if he can bring in money to the casino they will probably bury it.

i'm just waiting for a casino like The Venetian or Wynn to join the beef...Arum can hold his vegas cards at a rival casino

eventually the TR-GBP feud will have dragged HBO, Showtime, MGM and another casino into their bull****

But they can sure as hell pay back a big portion of their contract money for breach of contract...money is money and no one likes to lose it.
