Can Cotto use his left hook effectively against Sergio

    Could Sergio counter it also?

What does Cotto need to do to get inside Sergio's jab?

Bob and weave son, bob and weave behind his jab. Double up on the jab on the way in. The basics!

That's how Cotto gets inside to tee off with his big punches (left hook included.)

Against Sergio's reach, footwork and quickness?

Good ****ing luck lol. No seriously, Cotto needs a miracle to win this fight.

Everytime I read about this fight people make it seem like Martinez is some kind of freaking defnsive whiz. Martinez is one of the easiest guys to hit in boxing, he'll be there for Cotto to land all night.

A nice swift kick to the groin, no J/k..

A nice solid left hook to that surgically repaired right knee..

Not exactly true he is not very easy to hit,he has good head movement and has/had nice footwork. He has a huge reach advantage and the power and speed advantage...This will most likely be an ugly night for Cotto

Maybe. But he's going to have to pay a price to use it.

Not sure Miguel can pay that bill.

Sergio gets caught with hooks quite a bit. Mostly when he's trying to turn an opponent, he moves right into it.
