Dude, I'm not talking about upside money or residual money or anything after the fact.

By Nevada law, there is a bout agreement and on that bout agreement...the amount of money that the fighter is making for that fight must be included in addition to the check (which Nevada hold until they receive a pre and post urine sample in addition to making sure the fighter actual fight..no WWE stuff).

So on fight night Floyd get a check for 40 million and Manny get one for 6 mil.

Grant it the split should be fair but in Manny case, there is no possible....wait hold on one minute...something I need to scream out real fast:

        HAIL HYDRA!!!!

anyway as I was saying, Arum is paying Manny 6 million on fight night while Floyd get a check for 40 mill on fight night. Honestly which fighter would you rather be on fight night....the 6 mill fighter or the 40 mill fighter?

Don't let your hate blind you.

They should add the amount spent on advertising, I know Floyd does make more but they sure as hell spend a tonne on hyping up the fight.

Honestly though, who gives a fk!! We're missing out on a fight that should have happened years ago, the fans lose.

          /end thread

I disagree with you on that as well.

Look I'm not getting any of that money so I could care less from my pocket book standpoint.

My point is if Pac fights officially for 6 mill on fight night and Floyd fights for 40 mill on fight night...why ask for 50/50 when you don't make nowhere near that on fight night anyway, just take a 70/30 split and give the world the fight we've been asking for.

                Apparently that's not worth much

"According to the Nevada State Athletic Commission, both Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will be making $6 million purses on Saturday night for their HBO pay-per-view rematch, but Top Rank's Bob Arum says that Pacquiao's guarantee is actually $20 million.

As we've said before, this is really not uncommon. I've seen Nevada sheets where fighters from overseas were paid a reported $1. No zeroes missing. $1. They obviously did not make $1 for their fights."

I agree, they don't make $1 per fight but anything they make after the fact is subject to whatever deal they've made and deal made outside the commissions boundaries cannot be enforced if broken.

However the bout agreement is enforceable by the commission because they hold the checks....Why wait until after the fight to pay your fight 20 million, just pay him 20 million on fight night if that your intent from the get-go.
