not a for a few months yet if i see anything ill let you know mate
i was at the pederson fight too. Great atmposhewre though Im hearing this could be at the reebok stadium in bolton.
Man city ground is staging a womans football match, for f*** sake.
Pay em to play a day later!
I dont fancy bolton compared to Manchester to be quite honest.
One of the problems their going to have is the time, hence why there looking for an alternative venue to the City Centre I guess, I like the MEN because the roof holds the noice in, it justs gets manic. In the city centre I guess your looking at two hours after kick out time.....problems. There was talk that Manchester City Council wouldn't give them a permit for that location - don't know if thats true
All the guys you mentioned that Hatton beat were done. I wouldn't say Chop Chop is done, he just fought the best in Zab Judah and PBF.
Of course you say that Chop-Chop is'nt done. Then you would have to admit you were wrong. Cotto's comp is in no way better than Hattons. Both have had same amount of fighting. Cotto just stayed in amatures alot longer than Hatton so I say there equal in skill and competion. Actually I think clearly Hatton has had the better comp, but you to damn stuborn to admit it.

Chop isnt done. Hatton probally has the best overall comp, but Cotto has the best win with N'Dou
1. Kostya Tszyu- After demolishing Sharmba Mitchell in 3 rounds, no one can argue against him being number 1 at 140. He's been the man for the last 6 years or so, and may be for 6 more.
2. Vivian Harris- After his frightening KO of Diosbelys Hurtado in 2002, he opened my eyes to him. He's been ducked and overlooked by alot of the top 140 lbers, and made a serious statement in knocking out Urkal.
3. Miguel Cotto- By leaps and miles the best of the Class of 2000, he made a huge statement on the Morales-Chavez undercard in blasting out Victoriano Sosa. What really impressed me was him being able to go to war with the rugges Lovemore N'Dou.
4. Arturo Gatti- Arturo is the most protected, overrated fighter at 140, save for Ricky Hatton. While I do enjoy him alot, I don't think anything of his WBC belt, which is only good for holding his pants up. If a proposed fight with Mayweather Jr. comes through, I will have respect for him. He needs to take on a legitimate contendor soon, and Leija would be that. Ten years ago.
5. Floyd Mayweather Jr.- Speed kills in boxing, and Mayweather has speed to burn. His 140 lb. debut was a smash hit, as he beat up on Demarcus "Chop Chop" Corley en route to a unanimous decision. His upcoming bout with Henry Bruseles is the biggest mismatch since Terry Norris blew away Joe Gatti, but he's got tremendous potential at 140.
I disagree I think chop-chop is toast, but we will see. I can agree with the later part of yer post though
Ive talked to Chop before and he's a good guy. He lost to Floyd and Zab. How many guys wouldve beaten those 2. He is a leftie who will give Cotto alot of problems. He has sparred alot of rounds with Joppy, Tszyu, and Mayorga. Cotto will not KO him
It has mainly been down to Frank Warren that it's taken this long but he's finally fighting who he wants to. He hasn't been refusing title shots, Harris refused it even though it was probably his biggest purse to date at that time.
I think it's wrong to put it all on Hatton & Warren though. I'd be very surprised if they hadn't tried to line up big fights behind the scenes. I think all of the top 5 or 6 are equally guilty in not wanting to take many risks before landing a shot at Zoo or whoever beats him. I can't remember the last big fight at 140 apart from KT v Mitchell where the result was in question before the fight.
Yeah, I agree. When's the last time we even saw PBF Mayweather take a legitimate risk. That, in my opinion, has put Mayweather out of the elite in my opinion. I don't even consider him a threat to KT or anyone else because he simply doesn't take chances, hence he is nota true champion. The upcoming KT-Hatton fight is the best fight at welter we have seen in awhile.
