Why are we constantly told Manny has regained his killer instinct?

Seems the standard soundbite for every fight since Margarito... Freddy Roach proclaims he has found the 'old Manny' in training and predicts a devastating KO.

    Can't they change the record?

Roach predicts a knockout every fight. Nothing new here.

As for "Killer Instinct" Manny, I don't really think he has it anymore and, honestly, he seems more focused on being a politician and a bible reader than a boxer at this point. Can't really blame him. He's rich. Doesn't really have anything else to prove in the sport.

Manny doesn't understand that battering his opponent for 12 rounds is probably more damaging than an early KO.

            Is this a trick question?

Because this fight is tracking at really low revenue numbers?

They could just recycle the same articles and just change the names/dates/records/venues and nobody would know. We get the same few articles every time. The Pac ****.

"Pac is having his best training camp ever"

"Pac will KO him in less than 4 rounds says Roach"

                "The killer instinct/fire is back"

then tomorrow or the next day there will be some minor inconvenience or sick second cousin and it will be "Will effect will this have mentally on Manny for this fight?"

Here's the thing ... All this talk about Pac losing his edge may have a major impact on the fight. Add to that, Bradley's face2face statement that Pac doesn't have it anymore, coupled with being KO'ed by JMM and I think Pac will have more mental demons than usual to conquer.

If he's too aggressive, he could get caught with an unexpected shot and if he subdues his natural tendencies, then that could take him out of his game.

IMHO - Bradley is in a better place mentally than Pac in this fight and as in all fights, mental state plays a major role in the outcome.

I'm leaning to the upset and a Bradley win!

Maybe because Bradley says Pacquiao has lost his killer instinct about 10 times a day every day and his trainer says the same thing. Everybody will know in three days if Pacquiao has lost his desire and ability to go for the kill or not. I don't think he has. He was trying to kill Marquez in their last fight and I think he will try to KO Bradley in three days.
